A site has www.genitalsornot.com has been launched which checks if your logo looks like a Genital!!

How many of us have seen logos which have made us wonder what exactly was the designer thinking. Take a look at this one below


The site was started by Denver Designer Josh Mishell who saw some (probably unintended) genitalia on a beer coaster at a local brewery startup. He posted the photo online. While many people thought the photo was funny, a few concerned friends pointed out that he should do something constructive with his time, instead of just pointing out the hilarity of these unexpected genitals in design.

He says that when you’ve been looking at your own design too much, it’s easy to miss simple signs that your logo has some hidden genitals in it.

For a $25 design fee you can upload your logo and they'll investigate and inform if you there is even a hint of genitals in your logo.

Eliminating Elevator waiting time complaints with Mirrors

At a large Multistoreyed office building, people complained about long waiting times for the Elevator during peak hours. Increasing the number of elevators was not feasible so an alternative solution was needed. The management called a meeting of the staff to brainstorm. A young employee who was a graduate in psychology observed that people complained about waiting only a few minutes for the elevator. The main issue was boredom rather than elevator performance.  He suggested installing Mirrors in the elevator boarding areas so that people could be busy looking at themselves or looking at others. How Kraft's Shreddies Revamped Itself Without Changing Anything

What do you see in the image above? Is it a diamond? Is it a rhombus? Or is it a square, rotated  45°? In 2008, Kraft Foods Canada capitalized on this confusion to revitalize a 78-year-old brand, Shreddies. Sales of this popular breakfast cereal had stagnated. According to a consumer research done in its Canadian market, customers wanted the brand to refresh itself without it changing anything.  How to increase sales of a product that is loved by its customers just the way it is? Kraft Foods accepted the challenge and launched the new & improved Shreddie, the 'Diamond Shreddies'.
